Sam H. Harrold, III (Director)

Samuel H. Harrold, III, is a Director and litigation attorney in the Clarksburg, West Virginia Office. Sam is a Clarksburg native with practice experience including insurance and corporate defense, contracts, oil and gas partitioning, and criminal law. He has successfully represented clients throughout West Virginia. Sam is a member of the West Virginia State Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia and the United States Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Sam is a 2006 graduate of the University of Virginia Trial Advocacy College. Sam received his law degree from the West Virginia University College of Law in 2002 and also earned his Masters of Business Administration from West Virginia University in 1999. He is a 1997 graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree and private pilot's license in his spare time.

When not at work, Sam is an active member of the Harrison County Rotary Club where he formerly served as the treasurer. Since 2002, Sam has been a member of the West Virginia State Bar, Harrison County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Sam is also a member of the International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors and owner of the West Virginia Firearms Training Academy where he is an active certified firearms instructor through the NRA and LFI.

Before joining MHMV, Sam worked as a general manager for West Virginia Coals in Clarksburg where he oversaw real estate development projects. He was later employed by Pinkerton Security in Washington, D.C., as a risk assessment intern analyst where he developed intelligence reports for international threat management analysis and authored comprehensive reports concerning international security issues for corporate and federal agency clients.

Sam and his wife, Kristen, have one child Julia who is 2 years old. In his spare time, Sam enjoys playing with his daughter, attending WVU sporting events, flying, competitive shooting and golf.
