Steven R. Bratke (Director)
Steven Robert Bratke was born in 1964 in Nashville, Tennessee but has resided in West Virginia since 1970. He is a 1986 graduate from West Virginia University with a B.S. B. Ad. having studied corporate financing and a 1989 graduate from the West Virginia University School of Law. He was admitted to the West Virginia and United States District Court, Northern and Southern Districts in 1989, the United States Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit, 1996, and the United States Supreme Court 1998. He was also admitted to the Ohio bar in 1998.
Steve is the resident director of firm’s Parkersburg, West Virginia office. While the firm offers a full range of legal services, Steve practices in the areas of general civil litigation, collections, criminal law, insurance liability, insurance coverage defense, insurance litigation, environmental litigation, personal injury, wrongful death, and professional negligence and malpractice. He is additionally in charge of the firms statewide collection practice.
Steve is a member of the Harrison and Wood County Bar Association and the West Virginia State Bar.
On a personal note he is married to Monica his wife of 20 years and has two teenage children. He is active in Church as Moderator of Vienna Baptist Church and has held a number of coaching positions, coaching both Football and Wrestling, on the youth league and secondary school level.

Lora B. Snodgrass (Associate)
Lora Snodgrass was born in Charleston, West Virginia, in 1978. She graduated with honors from the Ohio Northern University College of Law in 2003 and received a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2005. Before joining the firm, Mrs. Snodgrass served as Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Clarksburg, West Virginia. During her tenure as prosecuting attorney, Mrs. Snodgrass handled a variety of criminal matters, which included criminal litigation and appellate matters. She also served as lead prosecutor in matters involving juvenile defendants.
Mrs. Snodgrass works in the firm's Parkersburg, West Virginia, office. She currently practices in the area of general civil litigation, criminal defense, family law, insurance defense and intellectual property law and entertainment law matters. She is a member of the Wood County and West Virginia Bar. Mrs. Snodgrass is married and her husband is a Sergeant with the West Virginia State Police. As a result of her husband's career in law enforcement, Mrs. Snodgrass has a unique understanding of issues faced by members of law enforcement. As a public service, she currently provides estate planning services to active members of the West Virginia State Police through the West Virginia State Troopers Association. In addition, Mrs. Snodgrass is actively involved in several community organizations, which include her service as a volunteer with the Wood County Family Crisis Intervention Center and the adult literacy program.
