Jeffrey D. Van Volkenburg (Associate)

Jeff Van Volkenburg is an associate in the firm's Clarksburg office. He completed a clerkship with the Honorable Judge John L. Henning, Circuit Court of Randolph County, West Virginia after graduating from the Duquesne University Law School in June 2006. While in law school, Jeff was an Executive Editor of the Duquesne University Business Law Journal and received numerous awards including the ABA Award for Excellence in the Study of Labor and Employment Law. He also completed a clerkship with each of the Pennsylvania intermediate appellate courts.

Prior to law school, Jeff obtained his Bachelor of Arts, with a major in History from the College of Wooster in 2001. He also obtained his teaching certification while completing his undergradute studies and taught high school social studies in Virginia public schools for two years, while working towards a Masters of Science in Education Administration at Old Dominion University.

Jeff currently sits on the Board of Directors for the North Central West Virginia Community Action Association. He is avid runner and enjoys history and literature. Jeff and his wife, Julia, reside in Fairmont.
